Pricing FAQs

Is the tuition private or group-based?
All sessions are private 1-to-1. There are no group classes. Every session is fully personalised to your child's pace, weak areas, and exam goals. Tuition is a simple RM80 per 60-minute session — you choose how many sessions per week.
What's included in the tuition plan?
There is one simple private 1-to-1 plan at RM80 per 60-minute session. Every session includes a personalised study plan, weekly homework that is personally marked and returned, monthly assessments, direct WhatsApp access during school hours, after-every-session parent updates, a diagnostic assessment before the first class, and a full mock exam. You simply choose how many sessions per week. Every new student starts with one paid trial class (RM70–RM90), so you can see the teaching before committing to ongoing lessons.
How much does IGCSE Maths tuition cost?
Private 1-to-1 tuition is a simple RM80 per 60-minute session — one rate, no packages to choose between. Pick the frequency that suits your child, for example 1 session per week (about RM320/month) or 2 sessions per week (about RM640/month). Every session includes a personalised study plan, weekly marked homework, monthly assessments, WhatsApp access, and parent updates. Billed monthly with no contracts.
How do I pay for tuition sessions?
I accept online bank transfer (the most common method in Malaysia), and sessions are billed monthly in advance. There are no long-term contracts — you can adjust or pause anytime with notice.
What days and times are sessions available?
Sessions are available on weekday evenings (after school) and weekends. I work around your child's school timetable and co-curricular activities. Most students attend 1–2 sessions per week, with additional sessions available before exams.
What if my child needs to miss a session?
Things come up — I understand. Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge.
Can my child contact Teacher Rig between sessions?
Yes. Students have direct WhatsApp access to Teacher Rig during school hours to ask questions between sessions. This means your child doesn't have to wait until the next class to get help with a problem they're stuck on.
What does an IGCSE Maths one-to-one class look like?
A one-to-one class is a 60-minute live online lesson with just your child and Teacher Rig — no other students. Each class is built around your child's current gaps and target grade. Teacher Rig works through Cambridge 0580 topics on a digital whiteboard, sets targeted homework, and reviews the previous week's marked work at the start of each session. Because it's truly 1-to-1, your child gets undivided attention and the class adapts in real time to what they understand and where they're stuck.
How do online IGCSE Maths classes work?
Online IGCSE Math classes run via live video on Zoom with a shared digital whiteboard, so Teacher Rig and your child can both write and draw simultaneously — just like a physical lesson. All you need is a laptop or tablet with a camera and a stable internet connection. Classes are scheduled weekly around your child's school timetable, and recordings of worked examples can be shared for revision after class.
Do you run IGCSE Maths group classes or only one-to-one classes?
Only one-to-one classes. I don't run group tuition because the pace, weak areas, and target grade vary too much from student to student to teach effectively in a group. Every IGCSE Math class with me is private 1-to-1, which means your child never has to wait for slower students or feel rushed by faster ones — the lesson is built entirely around them.
