Is online IGCSE Maths tuition as effective as in-person tuition?

What technology do I need for online tuition?
All you need is a stable internet connection, a laptop or tablet with a camera, and a quiet learning space. I use a digital whiteboard platform where both tutor and student can write simultaneously. Sessions work on any modern browser — no special software installation required.
What happens in the trial class?
The trial class is a paid 60-minute diagnostic session (RM70–RM90) where Teacher Rig assesses your child's current level, identifies specific knowledge gaps, and demonstrates the teaching approach. There's no ongoing commitment — it's simply a low-cost way to see if my style of tuition is the right fit for your child before booking regular lessons.
Do you cover both Core and Extended IGCSE Maths?
Yes. I offer specialist tuition for both Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics 0580 Core (Papers 1 & 3) and Extended (Papers 2 & 4). My teaching is tailored to your child's tier and target grade. I can also advise on whether Core or Extended is the right choice for your child.
