Step 2: That position is tenths, so the 6 is worth 0.6.

Step 1: Multiplying by 100 moves every digit two places to the left.
Step 2: 3.4 becomes 340.
Answer: 340
Question 3 Solution
Step 1: Look at the second decimal digit, which is 8.
Step 2: 8 is 5 or more, so round the first decimal place up from 4 to 5: 4.5.
